Alta Igloo ICE-HOTEL. The entire exterior
and interior is made of snow and ice: the
rooms, the beds, even the glasses in the
bar! As you can see, this hotel is also
decorated with ice-sculptures.

Sámi Parliament (Sámediggi) with its special
architecture is located in Karasjok.  "The
business of the Sámediggi is any matter that,
in the view of the Sámediggi, particularly
concerns the Sámi people"
(art.2.1 of the Sámi Act).
Sámis are best known as the reindeer
people.
But now, no more than 10% of
the Sámis are involved in the reindeer
husbandry. Here is one of them
- a beautiful one.
