More than 150 backers demonstrated in Oslo 
(November 12th, 2002), against Russian 
aggression in Chechnya. Demonstrations 
was held in front of Government building, there
meeting between President Putin and Prime 
minister Bondevik was going one!  		- Stop Genocide in Chechnya! 
- Stop Russia's War! 
- Stop torture in Chechnya! 
- Send Putin to Hague!.... was among slogans.. 
Demonstrators carried also some pictures from 
atrocities in Chechnya! 

"Chechnya is bleeding" 

 Demonstrations was organized by 
The Norwegian Helsinki Committee and
Amnesty International together with 
Chechen support committee.  
Tourpal Kaimov, is Chechen Parliament 
member (in exile) and was among them 
who addressed a crowd!  		Demonstrators and others singed a petition
to Stop the War in Chechnya. 
Many among demonstrators were
Chechen refugees in Norway!  		Demonstration was peacefully, but police
was there, just in case! Weather
was cold in Oslo, so was the eye-contact 
between this protester and police officer:-(
