Kosovo
(Albanian: Kosovë / Kosova, Serbian:
Косово и
Метохија / Kosovo i
Metohija) is a UN-administered territory of Serbia, Serbia
and Montenegro. By the UN resolution 1244 (adopted in 1999),
Kosovo is defined as autonomous territory within former Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia under UN administration. Whether this will
remain the case is still unclear, as the final status of Kosovo
is the subject of an ongoing dispute between government of
Serbia and Kosovo's government. Talks on this issue started
in Vienna, on February 20, 2006
